26 January 2016 r. in Cooperative House Jubilat in Krakow held a plenary meeting of the Malopolska Provincial Board of the Association of Polish Veterans and Former Political Prisoners. In the meeting, except members of the Malopolska Provincial Board participated: p.o. Head of the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Oppression Jan Jozef Kasprzyk, Deputy Marshal of the Malopolska Wojciech Kozak, Vice-President of the City Council Sławomir Pietrzyk, Vice President ZG SKMP UN, Secretary General of the Board ZKRPiBWP Waldemar Wojtan, mayors of cities and municipalities of Malopolska, that work and help veterans. During the meeting, Minister Kasprzyk distinguished person deserved medals "Pro Patria".
Deputy Speaker of Wojciech Kozak awarded the Medal of Honour of the Malopolska Region – Gold Cross Malopolska member of the Board of the Polish Veterans and Former Political Prisoners, President of the Malopolska Provincial Board Edward Koziol. On behalf of the President of the Board, Secretary General Waldemar Wojtan marked by a large group of veterans and people of merit for the Union assigned to them by the Board of medals "For outstanding Merit ZKRPiBWP", "For merits for ZKRPiBWP" and veteran's Cross Wins. Medal "For Merit for outstanding ZKRPiBWP" was awarded m.in. Deputy Marshal of the Malopolska Wojciech Kozak, who on behalf of the awarded thanked awards. After short speeches, greeting guests members of the government of Malopolska ZW received a report of the Provincial Board, Audit Commission and the Court of Arbitration and the work plan for ZW 2017 year. The meeting ended with a joint dinner.
